Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combines tender shrimp, creamy sauce, and cheesy pasta for a delicious, comforting meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces of pasta (your choice, but penne works great!)
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Step: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes, then sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove from heat.
  3. Step: Add heavy cream and lemon juice to the skillet, stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Step: Combine the cooked pasta and shrimp mixture in a bowl, adding half the Parmesan cheese; stir to coat.
  5. Step: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), transfer pasta mix to a baking dish, top with remaining Parmesan, and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Step: Garnish with parsley after baking, let cool slightly, then serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference. For a lighter option, you can substitute the heavy cream with a lower-fat cream or milk.
