Description
Lazy Lasagna is an easy way to get all the cheesy, meaty flavor of classic lasagna without the hassle.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 3 cups Tortellini
- 4 cups Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
- ½ Yellow Onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Black Pepper & Salt to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the tortellini according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the diced onions and ground beef until the beef is fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease. Season the mixture with Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 3: Stir in the marinara sauce and cooked tortellini until everything is evenly coated and well combined.
- Step 4: Spoon dollops of ricotta cheese over the top, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Step 5: Bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can use any pasta instead of tortellini, such as ravioli. For a less saucy dish, reduce the marinara sauce to 24 ounces. If using sausage as a substitute for beef, ensure it is a beef or turkey-based variety.
