- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or self-raising flour)
- 1 large egg
- 4 tbsp butter or oil, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder or baking soda
- Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips
- Optional: ¼ cup chopped hazelnuts
- Optional: Sprinkle of flaky sea salt
- Optional: Holiday sprinkles
Instructions
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Combine Nutella, egg, and melted butter or oil until smooth.
- Fold in Dry Ingredients: Add flour, sugar, and baking powder or soda. Mix until dough forms.
- Add Mix-ins: Stir in chocolate chips, hazelnuts, or sprinkles if using.
- Shape Cookies: Scoop dough into balls, roll gently, and flatten slightly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake & Cool: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes until edges set. Cool on a rack.
- Optional Finishing: Drizzle with Nutella icing, dip in melted chocolate, or sprinkle sea salt.
