Description

Here is an easy, comforting goulash recipe that the entire family will love! Made with simple pantry staples, this hearty meal is perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow noodles
  • 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step: Place a large skillet over medium heat and add your ground beef to the skillet.
  2. Step: Cook beef until brown and done.
  3. Step: Fill a sauce pan 2/3 full of water and place it over medium high heat.
  4. Step: Bring water to a boil and once the water is boiling add the noodles to the boiling water.
  5. Step: Boil noodles until they are done.
  6. Step: Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, ketchup, garlic powder, water, salt and black pepper to the cooked ground beef.
  7. Step: Add drained noodles to the beef mixture and cook on low for 10 minutes.
  8. Step: Serve & enjoy.

Notes

This meal is easily customizable by adding extra noodles or tomato products to stretch the yield for a larger group or for meal prep.
