Description
These Oven Baked Chicken Thighs come out juicy with golden, crispy skin and the most irresistible honey mustard garlic glaze. It’s the kind of no-fuss recipe that turns a pack of thighs into something you actually crave, weeknight easy, and dinner-party good.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken thighs (bone-in skin-on)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon whole grain dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Step: Preheat the oven to 425℉.
- Step: Place the chicken thighs in a bowl and season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Step: Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Step: Pour the sauce over the thighs and toss them well.
- Step: Transfer the chicken thighs to a 9×13 inch baking dish including any remaining sauce.
- Step: Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until the chicken thighs have an internal temperature of 165℉ and the skin is crispy.
- Step: Transfer the chicken to a serving plate, cover with aluminum foil and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use bone-in, skin-on for maximum flavor and crispy skin. Internal temperature of 165°F is safe, though some prefer cooking to 175°F for extra crispness. If using boneless, skinless thighs, reduce bake time to approximately 25 minutes.
