- 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
- 1 pound Chicken breasts or thighs (cut into 1-inch cube size)
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 teaspoon Ginger (minced or grated)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced or grated)
- 1/4 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- Sesame Seeds
- Green Onions
- Chili Flakes
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine all the teriyaki sauce ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
- Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, brown the chicken over medium-high heat, both sides until cooked through.
- Step 3: Pour the sauce over the chicken in the pan. Simmer until the sauce thikens and bubbles.
- Step 4: Garnish and serve with rice or noodles and steamed vegetables.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. To reheat: Warm in a pan over low heat with a splash of water to loosen the sauce, or microwave in short intervals.
