Description

This tangy, sweet, and sour recipe makes the perfect appetizer or main dish!


Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen beef meatballs
  • 118 oz bottle barbecue sauce (your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup diced pineapple (fresh or canned)
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Place the meatballs into the slow cooker.
  2. Step 2: Pour the barbecue sauce, hot sauce, diced pineapple, and mustard powder on top.
  3. Step 3: Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  4. Step 4: Serve as an appetizer or over freshly cooked rice as an entree.

Notes

If serving as an appetizer, use toothpicks. If serving as an entree, serve over rice or with a side salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
