  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Instructions

  1. Season: Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté: Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and rosemary to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze: Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cook for another 2 minutes to warm through.
  6. Finish: Stir in lemon zest and optional butter for extra richness.

Notes

For even cooking, pound chicken breasts to an even thickness before seasoning. Garnish with additional fresh rosemary and lemon slices for presentation. Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
