- 1 1/4 cup Long Grain Rice, uncooked
- 14.5 oz can of Beef Broth
- 10.5 oz can of French Onion Soup
- 1 stick of Butter, cold
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Layer: In an 8X8 inch pan, spread the uncooked rice evenly.
- Liquid: Pour Beef Broth over the rice.
- Combine: Pour in the French Onion Soup.
- Butter: Slice the butter into pats and layer it evenly over the rice and soup mixture.
- Cover: Cover the dish with tin foil and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
- Uncover: After 25 minutes, uncover, return to the oven, and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
- Finish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Caramelized onions can be added for extra depth. For a richer finish, stir in grated Gruyère, Parmesan, or mozzarella towards the end of baking.
