- 4 pounds Beef Chuck (Trimmed and cut into chunks)
- 1 large Onion (Quartered)
- 5 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1/4 cup Lime Juice
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Trim excess fat from the beef chuck and cut into large chunks. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Place quartered onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot. Add seasoned beef pieces on top.
- Step 3: Pour orange juice and lime juice over the beef. Sprinkle with cumin, oregano, and chili powder.
- Step 4: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Step 5: Once cooked, remove beef chuck and shred with two forks.
- Step 6: For extra crunch, spread shredded beef on a baking sheet and broil for 5-7 minutes.
