Description

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Pasta is absolutely delicious with tons of buffalo flavor. Everyone will love the tasty cream cheese and buffalo sauce with pasta.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix (packet kind)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 2 tablespoon corn starch + 2 tablespoon water
  • 16 ounces fettuccine noodles
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish optional

Instructions

  1. Step: Place chicken, broth, buffalo sauce, and seasonings in slow cooker.
  2. Step: Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
  3. Step: When chicken is fully cooked remove to shred with two forks.
  4. Step: Set aside chicken.
  5. Step: Whisk together corn starch and water and add to crock pot.
  6. Step: Add in cream cheese and shredded cheese.
  7. Step: Whisk until cheese and cream cheese is all combined, smooth, and melted.
  8. Step: Break the pasta in half and Place the pasta in the crock pot (uncooked).
  9. Step: Return the chicken and cover.
  10. Step: Turn slow cooker on high for 30-60 minutes until noodles are fully cooked, stirring occasionally.
  11. Step: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts to save money. Any pasta like penne, bowtie, or gluten-free noodles can be used. For extra creaminess, top with fat-free sour cream or mix in a can of cream of chicken soup.
