Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1½ cups Dr. Pepper
  • 1½ cups BBQ Sauce
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a 6-quart slow cooker add Dr. pepper, BBQ sauce, onion powder, garlic, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Step 2: Place chicken in sauce and completely coat.
  3. Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 2½-3½ hours.
  4. Step 4: Shred chicken with two forks in the slow cookers and then mix into the sauce.

Notes
