Description
Slow cooker honey garlic chicken legs are a perfect dish to serve up on a busy weeknight. Minimal prep work required and the honey garlic sauce is finger-licking good.
Ingredients

- 6 to 8 chicken legs
- 2 tsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp onion, minced fine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 cup water
- green onion and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Season: With the minced onions and pepper season the chicken.
- Base: Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker and place seasoned chicken on top.
- Sauce: In a bowl add your honey, garlic, soy sauce, and mix well. Pour this mixture over your chicken.
- Cook: Set to low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked.
- Thicken: Remove chicken from slow cooker. Mix the cornstarch and water together and stir into the sauce in slow cooker.
- Finish: Place chicken back into the slow cooker and turn to high for 20 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Serve: Serve on a bed of rice if you would like and garnish.

Serve with a side of rice, crisp green salad, or steamed vegetables.
