Description

Looking for easy slow cooker dinners? Try these flavorful Mississippi Meatballs! You need just 6 simple ingredients and 5 mins of prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds frozen meatballs (precooked)
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 package au jus mix (or brown gravy mix)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup pepperoncini peppers (without the juices)
  • 6 tablespoons butter (sliced)
  • Rice or mashed potatoes (for serving (optional))

Instructions

  1. Step: Add the frozen meatballs to a 6-quart slow cooker and sprinkle evenly with ranch seasoning and au jus mix (or brown gravy powder).
  2. Step: Pour in the beef broth, then top with the pepperoncini peppers and sliced butter.
  3. Step: Cover the slow cooker with a lid and cook on “LOW” for 5-6 hours, or on “HIGH” for 2.5-3 hours.
  4. Step: Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or your favorite side dishes!

Notes

Storage: Transfer leftovers to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat portions as needed in the microwave until hot and steamy. Chicken or turkey meatballs can be used as a substitute for beef. If using homemade meatballs, ensure they are cooked through before adding to the slow cooker and reduce cooking time accordingly.
