Description

Make parties and potlucks simple with Crock Pot Smoked Bites! This kid-approved recipe is both affordable and delicious, making it a hit at parties. Keep it warm in the slow cooker or pair with rice for a no-fuss dinner.


Ingredients

  • 24 ounces smoked chicken or beef links (precooked)
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce (tomato-based)
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Step: Spray a large 6 quart slow cooker with spray cooking oil.
  2. Step: Slice the smoked links into ½ inch thick rounds and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Step: Add BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and brown sugar.
  4. Step: Give everything a good stir, then cover with the slow cooker lid.
  5. Step: Cook for two hours on low or an hour on high. Then flip to warm until you are ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use turkey or chicken links, provided they are precooked. You can easily double this recipe in a 6-quart slow cooker. For advance prep, combine ingredients in the slow cooker bowl and store in the refrigerator up to 24 hours before cooking.
