- 2 pounds Chicken Tenders
- 1 packet Italian Dressing Mix
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 2 Lemons, juiced
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
Instructions
- Place: Place 2 pounds chicken tenders in the bottom of a 6-quart crock pot.
- Season: Top the chicken with 1 packet Italian dressing mix, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, juice from 2 lemons, 2 tablespoons butter, and ½ cup chicken broth.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or on high for 1.5–2 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Prepare Sauce: Pour the juices from the crock pot into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. In a small bowl, whisk 3 tablespoons cornstarch with 3 tablespoons cold water until smooth.
- Thicken: Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan and cook for 2–4 minutes until thickened.
- Combine: Pour the sauce back over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Serve: Serve warm with your favorite sides and enjoy!
