Description
Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips are fried the healthy way. Less than 30 minutes for a handful of spicy chips. Vegan, Paleo, Whole30 and a delicious side dish, snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups sweet potatoes (2 medium)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons organic brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step: Thinly slice sweet potatoes.
- Step: Toss in a bowl with the oil so that each sweet potato slice is lightly coated.
- Step: Mix the brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, and salt in a small bowl.
- Step: If any water has come out of the sweet potatoes while they were sitting then you can drain that off.
- Step: Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the sweet potatoes and toss so that each slice has seasoning on it.
- Step: Lay sweet potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer touching or overlapping a tiny bit.
- Step: Air Fry at 180°C (356°F) for 6 to 9 minutes depending on how thin your slices are.
- Step: Shake the basket halfway through or lightly stir to get them off the bottom of the air fryer bottom.
- Step: When done remove chips to a cooling rack and let them cool.
- Step: Done and eat or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Chips will get crispier as they cool. Store in an airtight container for 4 to 5 days. Can also be oven-baked at 355°F for 15-20 minutes.
