- 1.5 – 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Instructions
- Step: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, oil, soy sauce, water, minced garlic, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Step: Place trimmed chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow baking dish, pour marinade over the top to coat evenly, and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.
- Step: Preheat your gas, charcoal, or indoor grill pan and lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil.
- Step: Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Step: Remove chicken from the grill and let rest for 4-5 minutes before serving.
